As the Partner, President & Chief Strategy Officer, Michael spearheads the growth and strategic direction of Greenspring Advisors, combining the long-term vision for the firm with sustainable action. Perhaps most importantly, Michael drives the culture that makes Greenspring’s team what it is today.

A thought leader in financial planning and wealth development, Michael has been featured in prominent national media outlets, including CBS News Sunday Morning, CBS MoneyWatch, The Wall Street Journal, FOX Business News, The Jill on Money Podcast and Radio Show, The New York Times, and more. Having formerly served as an adjunct professor at Columbia University and New York University, Michael is recognized for his speaking engagements, presenting regularly at industry events and conferences, including the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Conference and the AICPA PFP Summit. As an active member of the American Institute of CPAs and the NYS Society of CPAs, Michael has served on various committees and held several leadership positions.

Michael graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with degrees in communication and business administration. After holding roles in investment banking, finance, and public accounting, Michael decided to utilize his extensive experience to serve clients by establishing his own firm, Wealthstream Advisors. In 2025, Wealthstream Advisors strategically combined with Greenspring Advisors.

Michael lives in Long Island, New York. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and meeting new people.
