Thinking about a career in finance?
A career in financial services can be incredibly rewarding – and Greenspring knows that if you’re seeking a career in finance, getting hands-on experience before you graduate is paramount. Seeking an internship with an established, reputable firm to earn real world experience and help you determine your path is an important piece of the puzzle.
Here at Greenspring Advisors, we have developed a comprehensive internship program that completely dismisses the preconceived notion of an internship consisting of pushing papers and fetching coffee. We believe that it’s imperative to pass along our knowledge to the next generation of financial professionals. Our 12-week rotational program allows the opportunity for rising seniors to learn about the industry first-hand through training exercises and assisting our team with real life scenarios.
Let's talk about what you will learn:
When crafting our 12-week program, it was important for us to design a schedule that provides an exciting and rewarding experience and allows the opportunity to add value to our firm and our clients.

“Through my internship at Greenspring, I gained exposure to multiple career paths in financial advising. Working with the institutional team, the private client team, and the operations team throughout my experience allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the overall roles and responsibilities each position holds. At the completion of my internship, I knew which career path I wanted to pursue.”

“Greenspring introduced the fee-only financial planning world to me, and taught me the benefit of helping people make financial decisions without the financial bias of selling a product. Right off the bat, I was introduced to the planning process; completing research and projects for upcoming client meetings. Within days, I was sure of my career path and here I am 7 years later, a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, continuing to reach my career goals.”
