Molly Goetz Named Finalist for Excellence in Mentorship and Allyship Award
Towson, MD – September 28th, 2023 – Greenspring Advisors is pleased to announce that Partner & Practice Lead, Molly Goetz, CFP®, CDFA®, MBA, was named as a finalist for the Women in Wealth Management Awards’ Excellence in Mentorship & Allyship award.
This award is open to both men and women who have acted as both mentors and allies to women in the wealth management industry. According to The Carson Group, this award is for individuals who have openly supported women through career advice in growing their practices, navigating through their organizations, getting paid fairly, or creating a culture of empowerment at their firm that empowers women to advance and bring their true selves to work.
Molly serves as a mentor in many capacities- especially through her role with Greenspring Advisors. “Since stepping into the role of my mentor, she has inspired me to reach for higher goals while also assisting me with the things that I need to do to achieve those goals,” said Monyai Stukes, one of Molly’s mentees. “Molly is caring, understanding, and willing to help in any way she can.”
In addition to being Greenspring Advisors’ first woman partner and active mentor, Molly served as a co-founder for the Greenspring Advisors’ Women & Wealth Initiative. “Since the launch, Molly has been instrumental in the group’s success by facilitating Conversation Circles for our team, focusing on professional and personal development,” said Laura Stoner, Director of People Operations at Greenspring Advisors.
“While women have historically been underrepresented in finance, progress is being made,” said Molly. “I am thrilled to be part of a team that is leading the way forward for women in a field as rewarding as wealth management.”
