Greenspring Advisors Named One of Financial Planning’s 2024 Best RIAs to Work For
Towson, MD – January 8, 2025 – Greenspring Advisors is proud to announce that it has been recognized as one of Financial Planning’s 2024 Best RIAs to Work For.
Financial Planning has partnered with Best Companies Group to identify companies that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. The ranking, released by Financial Planning on December 3, 2024, is based on surveys conducted with financial professionals across the country, evaluating their firm’s leadership, culture, pay and benefits, training, work environment, engagement, communication, and other factors.
To be considered for participation, firms had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be a firm registered as an RIA with the SEC
- Have a facility in the United States
- Have a minimum of 10 employees working in the United States
- Must be in business for a minimum of 1 year

Firms from across the United States entered the two-part survey process to determine Financial Planning’s Best RIAs to Work for. The first part evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top firms and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final ranking.
“These RIAs are shining examples of the ways in which workplace culture, benefits, pay and so much more can positively impact employees,” Editor-in-Chief Brian Wallheimer said. “It’s clear that these firms love their employees, and the employees love them back.”
