Baltimore, MD, September 24, 2020 – Greenspring Advisors, an independent, fee-only Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) that serves individuals and businesses from its offices in Maryland and New Jersey, is honored to announce the recipients of the 2020 Greenspring Grant. This year, the Greenspring Grant Committee awarded $50,000 ($10,000 per charity) to five organizations committed to addressing workforce and economic development.

The 2020 recipients are:

Zack Hubbard, 2020 Grant Committee Chairperson, stated, “We had the honor of reviewing 45 fantastic applications as part of this year’s grant process, and narrowing that group down was certainly not easy. However, these five organizations stood out because of their commitment to empowering the underserved and vulnerable populations in our community. We are incredibly excited to see the results of our investment in their mission at work.”

Greenspring Advisors has been fortunate to award over $300,000 in grants since the inception of the grant program in 2012.  And since 2007, Greenspring has surpassed the $1 million mark in charitable donations overall – with a strategic goal of giving away more than $15 million by 2036.
