Towson, MD, April 14, 2011: Greenspring Wealth Management today announced the purchase of The (k)larity Group, a retirement plan advisory firm located in Athens, Georgia. The (k)larity Group was recently one of five finalists in the United States for 2011 Retirement Plan Adviser Team of the Year by PLANSPONSOR. With the acquisition, Greenspring will manage approximately 175 client relationships and over $500 million in total client assets.
Joshua P. Itzoe, CFP®, AIF® is the Managing Director of Greenspring’s Institutional Client Group and author of the book, Fixing the 401(k): What Fiduciaries Must Know (And Do) To Help Employees Retire Successfully. Stephanie Hunt will continue in the role of Account Director, serving clients out of Greenspring’s Athens, Georgia office.
