Private Client Financial Associate – Paramus, NJ

The Financial Associate will work in conjunction with their assigned Lead Advisors to determine the financial needs of clients and to provide advice and make recommendations on products and services that best meet their needs. Duties include assessing clients’ assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives to establish investment strategies. The candidate will be servicing the clients of Lead Advisors at the firm.

Responsibilities

  1. Assess clients’ assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives
  2. Create and implement financial planning solutions
  3. Generate investment policy statements and provide portfolio analysis
  4. Maintain and implement client investment portfolios
  5. Prepare and deliver financial planning recommendations and analysis
  6. Participate in client and prospect meetings
  7. Work with client service department for ongoing client management
  8. Interact with clients’ CPAs, attorneys and insurance professionals
  9. Assist with data gathering and analysis projects

Industry/Business Experience

Minimum 3 years experience working in the financial services industry

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree a plus)
  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification preferred (or nearing completion)
  • CFA, CPA, CIMA designations or equivalent a plus

Licenses

  • FINRA Series 65 or 66 a plus
