Towson, Md. – February 6, 2014- Greenspring Wealth Management, Inc. has been named one of the top 100 Retirement Plan Advisers in the country by PLANADVISER. The magazine recognized the firm in the “Teams With $1.5B or More in AUA: $1.5B to $2.2B” category of the list.
The PLANADVISER Top 100 Advisers is an annual listing of the retirement plan advisers and adviser teams that stand out in the industry in terms of a series of quantitative measures. These measures include the dollar value of qualified plan assets under advisement (AUA), as well as the number of plans under advisement. The list also includes those who have more than 20% of their practice focused on 403(b), 457, defined benefit (DB) or nonqualified deferred compensation (NQDC) plans.
This year’s qualification standards—which rise nearly every year—were quite high. Individuals had to have 65 or more plans or at least $500 million in AUA; teams needed to advise at least $1.5 billion in assets or a minimum of 125 plans; and multioffice teams needed to oversee $2.5 billion in plan assets or 200 or more plans.
“We are extremely proud to be named among PLANADVISER’s Top 100 Advisors list,” said Joshua P. Itzoe, CFP®, AIF®, Partner & Managing Director of Greenspring’s Institutional Client Group. “It is validating and humbling to see our team recognized for its hard work, innovation and dedication to our plan sponsor clients and their employees. As we begin 2014, we believe this wonderful recognition combined with the launch of our revolutionary (k)larity Quotient℠ will continue to strengthen Greenspring’s position and reputation as an industry leader.”
